Examine the damaged hull of your shuttlecraft to see if it reveals any clues as to whether the Cardassians shot it down, or whether someone else was responsible. The area of the hull that was damaged carries a heat signature not consistent with any Starfleet or Cardassian weapons. It's not clear who shot the ship down, but both of those groups are ruled out. The hull is too badly damaged to be able to get any kind of good information from it.

Hack into the patient files in the medical tent at the Dozarian mining facility to see whether any of the names found there offer clues about whether the Cardassians are shooting down ships over Dozaria. Your crewmate notices that none of the names of patients are Cardassian, but some correspond with those of known operatives of Section 31! The medical data is protected by an intricate system of passwords and security measures, and your crewmate is unable to breach them.

Rummage through the compartments of the land vehicles at the mining camp, to see whether there are any clues as to whether the Cardassians or someone else is behind the operation on Dozaria. Inside a compartment in one of the vehicles, your crewmate finds what looks like a policy manual for a Section 31 mining facility. DIALOGUE FAIL

O'Brien explains that there is a Cardassian in the mining camp named Damar, who is a foreman. Interrogate Damar to see what he knows about who is shooting down ships in Cardassian airspace. Damar is being held prisoner, just like O'Brien and Tyler. He is certain that the Cardassians have nothing to do with the operation, or he wouldn't be imprisoned. DIALOGUE FAIL

Interview O'Brien and Tyler to see if there are any similarities between how they were shot down, and how your shuttle was shot down. This may help identify whether it was the Cardassians or someone else. O'Brien explains that when their ship was shot down, it was by a ship he didn't recognize, and not a Cardassian ship. Tyler is able to point out the ship, parked right on the mining facility's airstrip. It has a Section 31 insignia on the side. O'Brien and Tyler have spent so long at the mining camp that they don't remember any information that can be helpful.

Hide in the overseers' tent at the Dozarian mining facility to see what can be overheard about who is shooting ships down. Was it the Cardassians, or someone else? Your crewmate overhears one frustrated overseer making a sarcastic joke to another, while on break: "If Section 31 is this incompetent, is Section 32 going to be better, or worse?" Your crewmate is discovered while hiding in the overseers' tent, and is escorted from the premises immediately.

Scan the area for any energy signatures from ships on the mine's airstrip that were recently flying, to see whether the scans provide any clues about whether the Cardassians shot them down, or someone else did. In addition to your shuttlecraft, you find signatures from a ship closer to the mining facility. It is not a recognizable ship -- definitely not Cardassian -- and has definitely been flying recently and using weaponry. All the scan reveals is your own shuttlecraft that crashed on Dozaria.

Search the supply tent at the mining facility on Dozaria to see if there are any clues as to whether it's the Cardassians, or some other group, in charge of this operation. Your crewmate finds no evidence of Cardassian involvement, but does find insignia related to Section 31 on a soiled jumpsuit in the laundry cart. Your crewmate is seen in the supply tent and immediately commandeered to haul some supplies out to a team in a faraway part of the mine.

Raid the medical tent for any supplies that could be easily converted into parts for the distress beacon that will get your group safely off Dozaria. DIALOGUE SUCCESS Just as your crewmate enters the medical tent, a miner is brought in with a medical emergency, and everyone is ordered to assist with a surgery. The miner's life is saved, but your crewmate returns emptyhanded and traumatized.

Dressed as a miner, ask an overseer to help you find parts to fix your foreman's radio. Deliver what he offers to Captain Archer for assistance with the distress beacon you are building to get you rescued from Dozaria. DIALOGUE SUCCESS The overseer is very concerned that the radio malfunction was not reported directly by the foreman, and insists on escorting your crewmate back to the dig site to remedy the matter himself.

Steal a dilithium crystal to help power the distress beacon that you and Captain Archer are building in order to get your group safely off Dozaria. It requires some stealth, but your crewmate manages to fill their pockets with freshly-mined dilithium crystals from a nearby mining cart. Captain Archer shows you how to place them into the beacon. The mining carts are under very heavy guard, because the crystals are just too valuable to leave unprotected. It won't be possible to steal any.

Search among the mining equipment for anything that might help build a distress beacon and get your group safely off Dozaria. Your crewmate grabs a bunch of electronic-looking equipment, unsure what it is or if it will help. One of the items is a full battery! It was one of the last pieces needed. Captain Archer explains how you should incorporate it into the beacon. Your crewmate brings back as much equipment as is practical to carry, but sadly, none of it can be re-used as part of the distress beacon.

Steal a communicator device from one of the mining camp's overseers, so that Captain Archer can take it apart and you can use the components for the distress beacon. The overseer puts his radio down for just a moment...long enough for it to get snatched. Captain Archer takes the communicator apart and offers you instructions about how to combine them with the other beacon components. By the time the communications device is returned to Captain Archer, it has been damaged by too much sand getting into the peripherals. Sadly, it will be difficult to make use of.

Appropriate a transponder from the communications center of the mining camp to use in the distress beacon you and Captain Archer are building to facilitate your rescue from Dozaria. While there are a couple of close calls, your crewmate manages to extract the transponder without getting discovered. Captain Archer is particularly happy to have it available for the beacon and explains how to connect it into the beacon. Your crewmate isn't exactly sure what a transponder looks like, so brings back a random piece of communications equipment that turns out to be an elaborate earpiece. Not useful for this situation.

Security Capture and interrogate one of the overseers at the Dozarian dilithium mining camp to see what information you can learn about the mine, its purpose, and who is ultimately in charge. The Hirogen overseer doesn't care enough about his job to hold back, and reveals that there is a secret base far under the surface, where replicas of Starfleet ships are being built, and that Section 31 is pulling the strings of the operation. Unfortunately, the overseer is one big, burly guy, and escapes capture pretty easily. And your team has now been exposed.

Infiltrate the Dozarian dilithium mine. Posing as a miner, gather as much intelligence as you can from the other miners about the true purpose of the mine. The miners allude to underground starships that the mined dilithium crystals will be helping to supply. It definitely seems like this operation is larger than just a mine, and your team will need to look for the starships. The miners call for a supervisor when questions about your crew's arrival aren't answered in a believable way. It's clear that you aren't supposed to be there.
