Diplomacy Mirror Hoshi Sato decides that perception is key. Whether anyone in the Empire cares about a missing Betazoid woman, arousing the UFP's suspicions and having them hanging around could be problematic, so she enlists you to spread some good press. Your away team combs through historical data on the Terran Empire. It is a bloody history of conquest, but your crew gives it a positive spin, presenting the Empire as an example of strength and determination–rather than just as ruthless murderers. Though your away team combs through the history of the Terran Empire, it's hard to put a positive spin on their violent history.

Privateer Benjamin Sisko is boasting about a “Prime Universe” sale–items from the other universe and everything must go! Investigate his merchandise and see if any of it was Lwaxana Troi’s. Among the merchandise Sisko has are several of Lwaxana’s possessions, as well as some ship parts from a Federation transport. When questioned, he insists he got all of it from a Ferengi who scavenged an abandoned vessel, but he doesn't know where. While Sisko's merchandise includes some of Lwaxana's possessions and some ship parts from a Federation transport, he refuses to reveal his sources.

Detective Hill brings Counselor Troi along to interrogate several Terran suspects, in the hopes that she might be able to use her abilities to expose their lies. However, several of them react violently, prompting him to request additional security. Your away team provides additional security to prevent the Terrans from harming Counselor Troi. Sadly, the interrogations and probes yield paltry results. Troi is left shaken, astonished at how the Terrans cling to their mental veils of deceit. DIALOGUE FAIL

A Daughter of the Fifth House might be worth a high price.... The traffickers put up a hell of a fight once you find them, and though your away team is able to free all of the hostages present, Lwaxana Troi is not among them. The Terran traffickers have done a fine job hiding themselves. By the time you find their hideout, they have already fled, the fate and identities of their hostages still unknown.

Word reaches you about Mirror Phlox, who has become fascinated with Betazoids and their telepathic abilities. It seems he’s trying to get his hands on a research sample–and he may have found one. While at first unwilling to talk, your away team is able to get Phlox to open up. He acknowledges that Lwaxana had been a willing guest of his, happy to answer questions and demonstrate her abilities. But when asked for a sample, she left in a huff. Mirror Phlox sees no reason to give your away team the time of day, much less access to his lab. When your team tries to enter by force, they find the Terrans' brutal fighting style to be more intense then they anticipated.

Mirror Gabriel Lorca is overheard making some rather incendiary remarks about Lwaxana Troi after he says she tried to incite a rebellion–but Lorca himself is nowhere to be found. Find him and see what he knows–or has done! Your away team pursues Lorca to the edge of the Alpha Quadrant. When you catch him, he asserts that he hasn't done anything, but says he should have when he heard the Betazoid asking a group of Andorians why they don't just "stand up" to the Empire. DIALOGUE FAIL

Diplomacy Security In an attempt to find the prime universe Lwaxana, Mirror Kayla Detmer seeks out her mirror counterpart, along with those of her daughters, on the scorched Betazed, but to no avail. Seeing no need to overexert herself, she sends your crew instead. Though the destroyed mirror Betazed proves perilous, your away team manages to locate Mirror Kestra, who says she’s been keeping an eye on her mother and sister and that no one has seen this “prime counterpart”. Your away team beams down to the wrecked remains of Betazed, where Mirror Lwaxana is said to maintain a brothel, but the planet is too treacherous and your crew must evacuate before finding anyone.

Your crew investigates the ship, but it is heavily damaged, seemingly by crashing into a large celestial body. There is no sign of foul play and everyone on board appears to have departed–but to where? Your away team boards the ship to investigate, but on trying to force their way into engineering, they discover the warped core is severely damaged and on the brink of exploding. Attempting to locate and extract data from Lwaxana Troi’s ship, Commander Riker attempts to access it remotely, but is unsuccessful. Something appears to be blocking the ship’s signal and he wants your crew to find out what. Traveling through Terran space, your away team finds several probes floating about, blocking the signals of anyone lacking proper override codes. Your crew destroys the probes, but with Terrans from across history lurking, it’s unclear who did it. Your away team searches desperately for Lwaxana Troi's ship, but there's no signal nor sign of it. It's almost like it's completely gone.

Diplomacy Detective Hill asserts that any good detective would start close to home and tasks you and your crew with tracking down and interrogating Lwaxana’s past lovers and love interests... no matter how long that list might be. While some of Lwaxana’s past love interests, such as Odo and Captain Picard, have been accommodating, others took a little more convincing to even broach the subject. In the end, very few clues were gained. DIALOGUE FAIL

She says you'd better hurry–the word “execution” has already come up several times. You find Vash coping well with her time in prison. When you confront her about the jewelry, you learn it is Lwaxana’s, but Vash didn't get it from the source–she “borrowed” it from a Ferengi merchant. Your crew negotiates a reduced sentence for her. Your away team arrives at the jail and finds the prisoner is Vash. She's less than cooperative and the Klingons are increasingly losing their patience.

Engineering Combing through her effects, a friend of the Troi family locates what appears to be a PADD Lwaxana used as a diary. However, the diary is encrypted and cannot be read by just anyone. Decrypt it and see if it offers any clues on her whereabouts. One of your engineers manages to crack the diary. While it contains a great deal of personal thoughts and accounts, it offers no clues to Lwaxana’s current whereabouts. Your engineers try to crack the PADD's encryption, but after repeated failures, the PADD begins self-deleting data as a security measure.
