Postscript

  • Admiral William T. Riker: "The attack on the Renegade was only an effort to gain control of a Starfleet ship. We've learned the Talarians plan to launch a full-scale attack on Angel I. Without the Renegade, they'll have to rely on their all-male army."

    • Captain: "They're sure to lose, then."
    • Admiral William T. Riker: "Angel I isn't much better. For most of their history, they subjugated their male citizens."

    • Captain: "What is the Talarians' quarrel with Angel I?"
    • Admiral William T. Riker: "Talarian society is strictly patriarchal. Angel I is ruled by an elected matriarchy. I attempted to... negotiate with them once.

    • Captain: "Should we be taking sides in this matter?"
  • Admiral William T. Riker: "The Federation doesn't make a habit of imposing its values on others. But Angel I is now a member of the Federation, and they've made great strides in equality since. Defending them isn't just an obligation, it's the right thing to do."
  • choice A
    • Captain: "We'll set course for Angel I immediately."

    • Captain: "I hope the Talarians see reason before any torpedoes are launched."
