A Flood of Technology Command
AND
Security
Science Engineering A mere communicator left behind on General Gosis's world nearly caused the deaths of both Captain Archer and Lieutenant Reed. The Ferengi have decided that only an overabundance of technology will convince this world that they are not enemy spies, but potential trading partners. Prevent this action and possible war. Your away team disrupts the transport of many Ferengi and technological wonders down to the surface of General Gosis's world, destroying the items in the process. The Ferengi are angered at the property loss until shots are fired from the planet's surface, convincing them that perhaps these people won't make the best customers. DIALOGUE FAIL
Barrier Down Security
AND
Command
Engineering
AND
Science
Engineering The Ferengi have destroyed the energy barrier protecting the Ventu from the more advanced Ledosians, causing chaos to break out on their current planet. Ensure the Ventu civilization survives this chaos. Your away team convinces the Ferengi that the Ventu will make far better trading partners than the Ledosians. The Ferengi assist in erecting an energy barrier around the Ledosians instead, saving the Ventu. Your away team is unable to devise a way to save the Ventu, who are quickly being killed off by the more technologically advanced Ledosians. The Ferengi look forward to trading with them once all this unpleasantness passes.
Canaries from the Void Security Diplomacy
AND
Command
Diplomacy Fantome's species—extremely quick-witted and physically hardy—have been singled out by the Ferengi for burdensome, dangerous tasks that might exhaust another species. Save Fantome's brethren from slavery under the Ferengi. Your away team rescues members of Fantome's species from potential enslavement under the Ferengi, and the grateful saved present valuable goods stolen from under the Ferengi's noses as reward. DIALOGUE FAIL

Security Diplomacy
AND
Command
Rubicun III, homeworld of the Edo, is a pleasure paradise to rival Risa--unless visitors break one of their mysterious laws, for which punishment is execution. The Ferengi believe they can restore tourism by merely making the Edo believe that violators have been executed. Prevent this deception. Your away team not only stops the Ferengi from trying to deceive the Edo, but saves the Ferengi themselves from certain execution by the Edo, had they discovered the Ferengi's true intentions. Your away team accidentally enters an Edo punishment zone and commits an infraction. All are sentenced to death, and only escape through the quick intervention of Federation authorities, who are none too pleased to have been made to violate the Prime Directive.
Delta Doublecross Medicine Science Diplomacy
AND
Command
Kelis and his people believe the Eternals to be gods who walk among them, appear as they do, but possess great powers. Ferengi Arridor and Kol are up to their old tricks as they have convinced Kelis that they are Eternals. Expose Arridor and Kol for what they truly are. Your away team's exposure of Arridor and Kol's attempted deception took an ugly turn when Kelis and his people formed an angry mob, carrying the two Ferengi off to parts unknown. At least Arridor and Kol will not be able to take advantage of another primitive civilization now. Arridor and Kol, having been thwarted once by a Starfleet crew, respond to your away team with renewed vigor, convincing Kelis and his people to violently drive them from their planet.
Dreman Lace Medicine Security Security
AND
Command
Drema IV holds the largest deposit of Dilithium ore ever discovered, and the Ferengi simply cannot bear to see all that profit destroyed in the name of safety. They are standing guard should anyone make the attempt; evacuate the Dreman people before their planet is torn apart. DIALOGUE SUCCESS Your away team attempted to evacuate the Dreman people before their planet destabilized but was impeded by a Ferengi profiteer. The Dremans were saved but only after a disastrous negotiation that left your shuttlecraft stripped of valuable components.

OR

Medicine Security
AND
Command
Having discovered the valuable deposits of Veridium ore on the Akaali homeworld, Ferengi Alliance mining teams have once again endangered the Akaali people. Shut down their mining operation to prevent further illness among the Akaali. Your away team escorts the Ferengi mining teams from planet and quickly gets down to the more important work of healing the Akaali sickened as a result. DIALOGUE FAIL
Hodgkin's Law Command Engineering Science
OR
Engineering
Ferengi scientists have attempted to disprove Hodgkin's Law of Parallel Planetary Development by holographically altering the Roman architecture of 892-IV. Disable these holographic effects to reveal the Alliance's duplicity. Your away team disables the Ferengi holograms, restoring the Roman Empire-inspired world of 892-IV to its original estate. Its inhabitants all believe they witnessed nothing more than a strange vision from the gods. DIALOGUE FAIL
Holy of Holies Command Diplomacy Science
OR
Engineering
The Yangs of Omega IV came to revere the United States Constitution as a holy document. In order to help the Kohms win a civil war between the two races, the Ferengi have replaced the Constitution with the Articles of Confederation, a precursor document. Restore the "Holy of Holies" to its original condition. Your away team has replaced the Yangs' "Holy of Holies"--otherwise known as the Articles of Confederation--with the superior United States Constitution. Both Yangs and Kohms are reconsidering their violent actions against one another. Your away team's attempt to replace the Articles of Confederation with the United States Constitution as the Yangs' "Holy of Holies" sparks protest from ancient Earth historians, who renew a debate about the merits and flaws of each of these documents.
Rozhenko's Folly Command Security Diplomacy
AND
Security
Doctor Nikolai Rozhenko--Worf's adoptive brother--refuses to allow the Ferengi to take advantage of the Boraalans, and has unfortunately taken several Ferengi hostage. The hostages must be freed without anyone coming to harm. Doctor Rozhenko finally agrees to stand down and free the Ferengi hostages after your away team promises to see they are protected from the Alliance's predatory actions. DIALOGUE FAIL
The Loque'eque Virus Security Security
AND
Command
Medicine The Ferengi see a great profit to be made in the mutagenic virus created by teh Loque'eque, which transforms the DNA of other species to that of the Loque'eque. Confiscate all strains of the Loque'eque to prevent the Ferengi from selling them as weapons. Your away team successfully confiscated the Loque'eque virus and arrested the Ferengi scientists working on it, some of whom already received their just desserts when accidentally infected during experimentation. Your away team returns to your ship having all been transformed into Loque'eque. Needless to say, the mission to stop the Ferengi from weaponizing the mutagenic virus was a failure.
The Menk Will Inherit Security Diplomacy Command The Menk, less evolved than the Valakians who share their homeworld, have long been treated as inferior. But a series of Ferengi speeches meant to turn them into customers has instead turned them to revolution. Ease this world through its transition as painlessly as possible. Your away team has convinced the Menk to take pity on the Valakians, who are slowly dying off. The Menk have swallowed their vengeful instincts and devoted themselves to aiding the Valakians in their search for a cure. Your away team's attempts to pacify the Menk only infuriate them further. They seek to purchase weapons of mass destruction to use against the Valakians from the Ferengi, who are only too happy to oblige.

Ferengi scientists have taken control of the ship computer the Fabrini worshipped as a god, and are now directing the Fabrini to their own ends. Board the Yonada and take back control of the "Oracle of the People." Your away team wrests control of the Yonada's computer away from the Ferengi, and in the process imbues it with a simplistic personality which cannot take advantage of the Fabrini who continue to worship it. DIALOGUE FAIL
The Overseer Returns Diplomacy Security
AND
Command
Security The Mintakans have been convinced that Grand Nagus Rom is their Overseer. Unfortunately, they have decided to defend him by taking up arms against the Traditionalists, against whom they stand no chance. Protect the Mintakans from themselves. After being shown footage of Ferengi energy whips by your away team, the Mintakans back down in horror, and refuse to defend the Alliance--at least physically. DIALOGUE FAIL
The Richest Element Diplomacy
AND
Command
Science Diplomacy
AND
Command
Diplomacy Ferengi officials convinced the Barkonians that there is a fifth element in addition to rock, fire, sky, and water: latinum, which they must obtain at all costs to ensure their own survival. Convince the Barkonians that they have been deceived. After your away team manages to convince the Barkonians of the truth, they drive the Ferengi from their planet themselves, destroying the latinum they have found in the process--much the Ferengi's horror. Your away team was unable to refute the Ferengi's deception of the Barkonian people. The shuttlecraft barely escaped with its systems intact as the Barkonians began dismantling it searching for hidden latinum.
The Sincerest Form Science Command Diplomacy The extremely imitative Iotians--who once modeled their society on a book titled Chicago Mobs of the Twenties--are being taken advantage of by the Ferengi, who innocently beamed down a copy of the Rules of Acquisition. Swap out these copies for blank versions to allow the Iotians to develop naturally. DIALOGUE SUCCESS Your away team fails to prevent the Iotians from immediately heeding the wisdom of the Rules of Acquisition. The Iotians embrace rule 34 "War is good for business" and declare war on your away team!
Vaal Strikes Back Command

Science Engineering
AND
Security
Engineering A Ferengi attempt to take control of the Vaal machine worshiped by a primitive society has backfired, as the self-aware Vaal engineered the torture and execution of the Ferengi responsible instead. Now, Vaal has declared ware against all Ferengi, and must once again be destroyed. Like Captain Kirk and his crew before them, your away team destroys the self-aware machine known as Vaal, saving the Ferengi from his vengeance and freeing the inhabitants of Gamma Trianguli VI to develop on their own terms. Vaal anticipates your away team's intentions and tries to destroy their shuttlecraft! It crash lands on Gamma Trianguli VI, leaving your away team injured and unable to continue the mission.

Security Though the rise of Fascism on Earth was cause for sorrow, the Ferengi find it delightfully amusing. They have spurred on the conflict between the Ekosians and Zeons, and are even constructing coliseum-like viewing centers for spectators to watch the action. Put an end to these insensitive plans. Your away team sweeps onto Ekos and Zeon, condemning the Ferengi and demolishing their under-construction coliseums. The Ekosians and Zeons privately confer on the wisdom of their continued conflict when this is the galaxy's reaction. DIALOGUE FAIL
We Are Your Friends Security Diplomacy
AND
Command
Diplomacy The Alliance believes it may have found a group of mercenaries superior to the Kazon in the Malcorians, who have a history of conquering each other with more honey than vinegar. Convince the Malcorians that allying themselves with the Ferengi would be a bad idea. Your away team convinced the Malcorians that the Ferengi Alliance is interested only in protecting themselves, and only in the Malcorians as far as the profit they can offer. In this respect, the Alliance and the Traditionalists are not so different. The Malcorians dismiss your away team as lower forms of life, insisting that the Ferengi--also lower forms of life--cannot use the Malcorians, but rather the Malcorians are using them.
